Pumpkin Carving!

Pumpkin carving! What a grand tradition! This year we carved pumpkins at 7am on Halloween morning. Nothing like procastination! It was actually kind of neat. A cool brisk morning on the back patio with a cup of coffee carving pumpkins! I was actually quite fond of it. This year Abby had her own pumpkin and it was quite adorable.
She liked to scoop out the seeds

As long as she didn't have to touch it. What a girl!

Then she got crayons to color on the pumpkin.

So, I decided to carve my pumpkin with a slightly scarrier halloween face. When we were all done we lined the pumpkins up next to each other. Abby looked at them all, paused inquisitively, and remarked, "Momma's punkin is crying! Momma's punkin is sad!" Oh the perceptiveness of a 2-year-old!
