Easter Fun and Festivities!

Here are some cute pics from Easter. My parents were so gracious and invited all of Jason's family over and we did a BIG family Easter lunch and egg hunt after church. It was great to spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying all of our family! Our families are such tangible reminders of God's goodness! Especially as we celebrate Easter and remember his ultimate display of love and goodness on the cross.

Titus 3:4-7 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Miss Emily Is Already 3 Months Old!

My little miss Emily is 3 months old today! She is just as cute as can be! Full of smiles and coos and her own little personality! She is officially sleeping through the night, about 8 to 8. Of course, I am still swaddling her (love the Miracle Blanket!), so we will see what happens when I take that away some day! At her last doctor's appointment she was measuring in the 90th percentile, gotta keep with the Hansen tradition! But I must say, I love her little rolls! She is trying desperately hard to find her finger! And I have given up trying desperately hard to give her the pacifier! And, maybe since her finger still alludes her, she loves to scoot over in her crib and suck on her bumper. It makes me laugh! Every morning I find her sucking away on her bumper. As for Abby and Kate, they still think she is the best thing ever! Abby is the sweetest little helper. She loves to care for her, entertain her, and retrieve all of her little needs for Mommy. I actually don't think she has ever complained when I have asked her to do something. Kate just wants to constantly kiss and entertain her! Such good big sisters! My three precious girls!

Katie's 3rd Birthday Party!

She is our big monkey pants! Katie is seriously one of a kind! So many things make her so funny and so unique! Her favorite color is orange and she seriously loves monkeys! So for the big birthday bash, we threw a monkey party. Complete with Curious George decorations, monkey masks, monkey music, monkey games, monkey cupcakes, and banana splits! It was a blast!

Dress-Up Extravaganza!

For Christmas my Mom made the girls a dress-up closet and filled it with dress-up clothes and accessories from the nearby consignment shop. And let me tell you, this consignment shop rocks! It must be a hotspot area for little girls in dance classes. There were so many dance outfits and mom even bought them tap shoes! My mom is amazing and this gift has been a big hit! One day I asked the girls if they wanted to do a workout video with me. I am so glad I did because it was hilarious! They really tried to do everything and they were so cute! They had a great time too! Well, when they saw my hand weights, they decided they needed some too. So they went in their playroom and chose these to be their weights!

Your two-year-old brings you this random toy and, with a very serious contemplating look, hands it to you and says, "Look, Grandma!"
