Kindergarten Class Christmas Party

And let the festivities begin! Jason and I were able to go to Abby's Kindergarten class Christmas party. The parents and kids made gingerbread houses and the kids sang us some of their favorite worship songs. They were so cute!
Well, the house started great. But it didn't take long before Abby was more interested in the candy!
She was glad when I told she could just have fun and eat her candy !
The final project
Abby and Mrs. Ames. We love Mrs. Ames!

Great Papa, Mary, Aunt Kathy, and Uncle Chris come to town!

It is always a highlight to have our extended family come for a visit! We feel very blessed to have such amazing family. My Grandparents and my Aunt and Uncle came to visit and meet the new babies, Emily and Brooklyn. We celebrated Gracie's birthday and hung out as much as possible. I love and cherish them, and so wish they were closer. Thank you so much for spending the time and money to come make memories with us!
Sweet Gracie!
Sarah always has these amazing birthday cakes! Gracie obviously loves McDonald's french fries!

I liked this picture of me and my love!
Two treasured photos! The girls with their Great Grandparents!

Let's just say Sarah ALWAYS dresses the her girls super cute! Look at Reagan's dimples!
Somehow, this is the only picture I have of Uncle Chris from the whole trip! How did that happen?! So sorry Uncle Chris! I guess y'all are just going to have to come back soon!

Thanks for the visit! We love you all!

Haley's Painting Craze!

As usual, I check my camera for pictures after my niece Haley babysits. Does this make her a good or a bad babysitter? Um... I guess good in my book! That is, if she cleans up!

How The Grinch Stole Christmas, The Musical

This year, we had the opportunity to take the girls to their first musical at Gammage! How the Grinch Stole Christmas was fabulous! Very well done! With Katie still being 3 and a little squirmy, we weren't quite sure how she would do. Especially because the play started after her bedtime. She was SO CUTE! As soon as the curtain rose, she had an enormous smile glued to her face. The colors, costumes, sets, lights, and music enveloped her! She kept looking at me with this awed look and couldn't wait to clap. In fact, she actually started the crowd clapping at the wrong moment. Their was a pause in this song and Katie immediately erupted in applause. To which the crowd followed. But the song wasn't over and their was that awkward moment. She looked at me with this, "oops, did I do something wrong?" look. I couldn't help but chuckle and tell her she was fine. Abby was also perfectly behaved and cute as can be. All in all, a fabulous musical, and a sweet memory. I hope they come back next year!

We got reprimanded for trying to take a picture with our camera in the auditorium. So here was our iPhone picture. We just had to capture the moment!

Halloween 2010

I think I will always love pumpkin carving! It just brings back so many childhood memories! Halloween just doesn't seem complete unless you carve a pumpkin. That little round orange face just screams, "Trick or Treat!" My parents came over, we got each person a pumpkin, including Emily, and made 7 wonderful pumpkins!

We let the girls color their own faces this year. Then Jason, as best he could, carved out the faces they had drawn. Katie's was the classic attempt at her fist pumpkin face!

Abby's pumpkin was a tad on the scary side!

Did I mention last year how excited we were to find out we lived in a great Halloween neighborhood? People totally decorate their houses for Halloween weeks in advance! Kids swarm the streets, candy is dished out, and memories are made! I love it! This year we told the girls to find their costumes in the dress-up closet in their playroom. (Their is quite the plethora!) Abby, Kate, and Jordan were all ballerinas. Emily wore the baby pumpkin costume that both Abby and Kate wore on their first Halloween! Super Cute!

Anxiously waiting... Trick or Treat!
And they're off! Do you think we can keep up?
Ah sweet memories!
